The Twenty Club is the Trans peer support group of the Gender Identity Clinic of New England. Friends/relatives welcome. Meetings are at the Project 100 Hartford Community Centre at 1841 Broad St. in Hartford, on the second and fourth Saturdays at 2:00 p.m. Meetings are usually open, sometimes there is a prearranged program. Occasional social events. Membership is $20.00/year, which includes a subscription to the newsletter. Persons wishing to attend are welcome as long as they have a personal interest in Trans issues, understand the nature of the group, and will respect the anonymity of those attending.

Peer-run support group for college-age and twenty-something Transgender people in the Boston, MA, area. Meets every two weeks, alternating between Tuesday and Wednesday. For those who are seeking others of similar age for support in realisation of one's gender identity, help with coming out, transition concerns, and anything else that members wish to bring up. Inclusive of those who identify as Transgender and/or who are questioning their gender, from MTF to FTM to genderqueer to whatever other gender description you prefer. BATS is an LGBTIQ friendly safe space, with confidentiality respected among members.

They do NOT have to be part of a "Trans community" or identify as Trans, and they can be any age. If there is enough interest, Lifelines RI will start special chapters for different demographics. They are already considering a Spanish language group - un grupo para gente que habla español.
The summer (2007) group is meeting every other Monday, second and fourth Mondays of the month, from 6:30 pm until 8:30ish. The specifics and extra events are listed at http://lifelinesri.org/events . Please contact for location information. Lifelines RI will soon be offering drop-in HIV testing and safer sex guidance for people of body configurations not addressed in other programs. They also offer case management, patient advocacy, and lots of other services.
